Plomondon Independent Film Festival P•I•F•F•0•9 February 6 & 7, 2009 The 5th Film Festival will be open to all independent video/film makers. Films will be shown Friday (2/6) night and Saturday (2/7) afternoon. Audiences will cast ballots for the best films. Awards ceremony will be Saturday night. $10 entry fee. Vernal Equinox Arts Fair March 21 & 22, 2009 A friendly gathering of local area artists showing and selling their unique arts and crafts. Live music Saturday night. Toledo Craftsmen’s Show April 18, 2009 A show and sale of craftsmanship by the men of the greater Toledo area. Part of the sales go to the Toledo Lions Club. Battle of the CowlArtz May 16 & 17, 2009 Annual high school student art show displaying the work of Toledo and Winlock High School students. Toledo Community Social July 9, 2009 The first event of Toledo’s Cheese Days celebrations. Cheese tasting, hors-d’oeuvres, wine tasting, live rhythm & blues, door prizes, and the Toast to the Big Cheese. $12.50 per person. ARTrails Studio Tour September 19 & 20 and September 26 & 27, 2009 Great opportunity for visitors to meet area artists working at the Morgan Arts Centre studios. www.artrailsofsww.org Holiday Art Market November 21 & 22, 2009 Buy handmade arts and crafts gifts made by local area artists for the Holidays.
